Hi all - just a reminder that delivery for our next exhibit, our annual Members’ Show, will be on Tuesday, Jan. 3, Wednesday, Jan. 4, and Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, from 900 am to 400 pm. Please try to come on Tuesday or Wednesday if at all possible! See exhibit flyer! HELPERS NEEDED: We need helpers to check in the artwork on the above mentioned dates; hours are from 900 am to 1230 pm, and from 1230 pm to 400 pm. Please let me know if you can help! Since we have quite a few new members, we’d like to remind you that we have a rod and hook hanging system, and that all work must be wired securely across the back. Snap-in and saw tooth hangers will NOT work. We also strongly suggest simple frames and white, black, or off-white mats where applicable. Gallery-wrapped canvas must be framed or have painted sides. Members are also requested to bring a plate of “finger food” for the reception, which is on Sunday, January 8. The awards will be announced at 200 pm. If any of you are coming from some distance, or only get to the Art League infrequently, and would like to bring a piece of work to donate to our Patrons’ Day fundraiser, please bring it at delivery for the January show.
