Hi all - Just a reminder that we will be hosting a “Studio Open House” on Sunday, Sept. 18, from 100 to 400 pm. This will be a great opportunity to see almost all of our workshop and class instructors demonstrating their techniques in the gallery, Studio A, and Studio B. Everyone is also invited to bring in an artwork for a one-on-one critique from yours truly and Peter Cerreta. We’ll do as many as time allows. Our annual “Members Showcase” exhibit is coming up - delivery of work is on Wednesday, Sept. 28 and Thursday, Sept. 29 from 900 to 400. As always, if you need to make other arrangements, please let us know. The opening reception will be on Sunday, October 2, from 100 to 400, and we announce the awards at 200 pm. Please plan to attend, and if you’d like to bring a plate of “goodies”, we thank you! We are planning to start displaying some of the works that are donated for our “Patrons’ Day” fundraiser in April 2012 in Studio B; for those of you coming from out of town, if you’d like to go ahead and bring your artwork, please do. Many thanks to everyone who came out and supported the opening reception for the “Faculty Show”!! We appreciated it, and we know that the teachers did as well.
