Art League News - February 2 & 3, 2012

Hi all - just a reminder that we have two new exhibits opening this Sunday.

The gallery show, "Dreams and Reality", features Orlando artists Mindy Colton and Gena Semenov, and local artist Fran Carson.

Many of you have seen Mindy's mixed media horse sculptures; this show also features some of her smaller horses in ceramic, aluminum, and bronze.  It is quite impressive to see the "thundering herd" all in one show!

Gena Semenov is new to the Art League, and her oil paintings are colorful and bold, a visual treat.  Animal lovers will especially enjoy her myriad of dogs, cats, and horses.

Fran Carson offers a variety of media and subject matter, from figurative work to expressive and colorful landscapes.  I especially like her black and white pieces.

The Palette and Brush club will be holding an awards reception in Studio A for its annual members show, judged by our very own Peter Cerreta.
