PanPastels Class Starting November 9, 2011 instructor: Karen Ann Patton

The Art League is very excited to announce a new class with instructor Karen Ann Patton, starting on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, from 100 to 400 pm, in Studio B. Karen Ann has been a regular exhibitor and award winner in our judged shows.

Karen Ann’s class will focus on using PanPastels, a great innovation in art supplies (PLEASE NOTE: you may use traditional pastels if you wish to). The class will use PanPastels to create new work and to rework unsuccessful paintings on paper. We all have work that we are unhappy with (you know, those things that live under the bed and behind the sofa!). PanPastels will bring these paintings back to life with exciting color, texture, and form. Subject matter will include landscape and florals (scroll down this page to see images below).

Karen Ann has graciously offered to make the November 9 class a “free” session for interested students; please let us know if you would like to attend.
