On October 8 and 9 of 2015, members Babz Lupoli and Irma Sue Stofsky presented an art project to the students at the Chiles Academy in Daytona Beach. The Academy offers high school education to parenting and unwed mothers, and various educational programs to other groups as well. Babz and Irma Sue taught a variation on the “Fragments Collage” workshop that Babz taught last summer as a part of our Adult Summer Camp program. The workshop was modified for children, and included a shoebox of art materials that they could keep, mats for their finished works, and even ribbons! Everyone seemed to be having a great time, and the artwork produced was amazing! Here is a gallery of the event:
