Payment in full is required before the first class. Class is limited to 10 students.

Class Description
Elevate your artwork with professional matting and mounting techniques! In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to beautifully present and protect your art for galleries, exhibitions, or personal enjoyment. Whether you're a visual artist or photographer this class will give you the essential skills to take your presentation to the next level.
In this class, you’ll learn:
Techniques for cutting mats with clean, crisp lines
Proper archival mounting methods to preserve your work
Tips for framing and presenting your art with a professional finish How to use hand cut mats to size your artwork for framing How to cut non-standard mats
Common pitfalls and how to avoid them
No prior experience needed—just bring your artwork smaller than 16x20 and a desire to enhance its visual impact. All tools and matting materials will be provided, and you'll leave with a finished, piece ready to frame (you may bring your own frame as long as it is 16x20 or smaller)
Perfect for: Artists, photographers, crafters, students, and anyone interested in art presentation and preservation.
This workshop uses razor sharp cutting tools and blades so students must be 18 years or older to participate.
