Maria Daas is a Florida native raised in Orlando. She has a BFA from Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL and currently works out of Daytona Beach, FL. Maria is an award winning oil painter with exhibition history in galleries in the Halifax and Central Florida areas.

Tuition Fee for 3 weeks with Credit Card:     $86.00 members - $101.00 non-members

Tuition Fee for 3weeks with Check/Cash:    $81.00 members - $96.00 non-members

Cancellations must be made at least one week prior to the first day of class in order to receive a refund.

Classes are limited to 12 students.

Class Description:

Beginner portrait drawing course using charcoal. We will explore observational portrait drawing using charcoal techniques. The goal of this course is a better understanding of how to draw planes of a face to create believable form and likeness in portraiture.
