"Wet Cyanotype Printing”

Saturday June 6, 2026 11:00am-3:00pm

Instructor: Janet Bernardini

This is a one-day workshop. Limited to 6 students

Traditional cyanotype is an alternative photographic process that produces beautiful Prussian blue prints.  Cyanotype printing is an enjoyable method to create photo prints using sunlight and light sensitized papers. The process is simple and safe, limited only by your creative spirit. The prints are beautiful on their own but are often worked into using mixed media such as pens, pastels, and inks.

In this workshop we will use botanical clippings and other flat translucent objects as subjects.  The workshop includes all material and is for anyone with or without prior experience.

"Dare To Be Creative”

Thursdays, Sept 3rd, 10th, 17th, & 24th, 2026

Time: 1:00pm-4:00pm

Instructor: Denise Vezza Maggiore

This is a weekly four-day workshop. Limited to 25 students

Learn how to unlock your creativity through guided artistic exploration, imaginative expression, and hands-on creative techniques in a welcoming, supportive environment. Perfect for all skill levels - no prior art experience needed.

During these sessions, Denise will introduce creative concepts, give general instructions and lead in the process of tapping into your own thoughts, dreams and meditations to express your imagination. You develop your own image, using supplied drawing or painting mediums on paper. At the end of each session, we will share our work with the group, to encourage one another. We will share our inspiration for the image, talk about out the process we used, and its personal meaning.

"Watercolor Batik”

Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 19th & 20th, 2026

Time: 9:00am-4:30pm

Instructor: Ryan Fox

This is a two-day workshop. Limited to 12 students

Discover a vibrant new way to paint!

In this exciting workshop, you’ll explore watercolor batik — a luminous fusion of watercolor and wax on delicate Japanese rice paper. Using a modern twist on the age-old batik process (where melted wax is applied to fabric to resist dye), you’ll layer rich color, shimmering highlights, and dramatic shadows to create artwork with gorgeous texture and depth.

We’ll start with a simple drawing, then dive right into technique: how to build light and shadow, when and where to apply hot wax to preserve details, and how to develop that signature batik “crackle” effect.

"Fire & Flow” - Acrylic Pour

Saturday & Sunday, Oct. 3rd & 4th, 2026

11:00am-5:00pm

Instructor: Monique Cohen

This is a two-day workshop. Limited to 10 students

Acrylic pouring is an easy-to-learn painting technique in which fluid paint is poured onto a canvas to create unique abstract compositions-no prior experience required. Participants will learn multiple pouring methods and be guided in developing their work into a finished, expressive piece inspired by seasonal forms and personal creativity.

"Celebrate Your Creative Self”

Saturday Oct. 10th 2026

Time: 10:00am - 3:00pm

Instructor: Pam Coffman

This is a one-day workshop. Limited to 12 students

We will experiment with a variety of mixed media activities and techniques to help you kick your inner critic to the curb and invite your inner child and creative muse to take over. We will play with a little bit of this, a little bit of that and break some rules to help ignite and recharge our creative spark. This is the perfect workshop for those who are convinced they are not very creative and for the seasoned artist whose work has gotten tight and predictable. No inner critics allowed! Be prepared to get messy!

"Layers of Design-Watercolor Pouring”

Saturday & Sunday, Oct. 31st & Nov 1st, 2026

Time: 9:00am-4:30pm

Instructor: Ryan Fox

This is a two-day workshop. Limited to 12 students

Learn to create luminous, expressive watercolor paintings — without ever picking up a brush. In this two-day workshop, we’ll focus on intentional design and careful planning as you explore the art of pouring diluted watercolor directly onto paper. Pouring allows you to achieve rich color transitions, soft blends, and glowing transparent layers that simply aren’t possible with traditional brushwork.
