CLASS DESCRIPTION
Give your artwork an online home! Learn what makes an artist website clear, welcoming, and easy to explore.
Monique will guide you through planning a simple portfolio website and demonstrate how to begin building it. Using your own artwork photographs and writing, you’ll practice choosing a template and adding content.
During this workshop, you’ll:
Explore the purpose of a homepage, gallery, About page, and contact page.
Choose a small selection of artwork to feature.
Begin working with a website template.
Add artwork images and a short artist introduction.
Learn what to check before publishing.
Leave with a website plan and a started homepage or gallery. This introductory workshop helps you get underway; completing a full website or online store will require additional time.
