CLASS DESCRIPTION

Take your gourd art to the next level by adding color, detail, and dimension to create a finished piece. In this class, participants will explore using opaque acrylic paint pens in a variety of colors to add lines, patterns, and decorative details to their gourds. Students will also learn how to incorporate beads to add texture and extra visual interest. These finishing techniques provide new ways for artists to enhance their designs and express their creativity.

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR

Deborah Hildinger is a mixed-media artist whose background includes printmaking, painting, pastels, digital imagery, and mixed-media work. She now focuses on creating and teaching mixed-media sculptures utilizing gourds.
