CLASS DESCRIPTION
You have artwork to share—but knowing what to post or what to say can feel challenging.
Join Monique for a relaxed, hands-on introduction to using social media as an artist. Explore ways to introduce yourself, showcase finished work, share your creative process, and help interested viewers find more information about your art.
Short demonstrations and guided practice will help you prepare a post using your own artwork.
During this workshop, you’ll:
Review your profile photo, artist bio, and contact information.
Explore ideas for artwork, process, and event posts.
Practice writing a clear, natural caption.
Prepare one artwork post.
Create a simple plan for a week of content.
Leave with a prepared post and practical ideas you can continue using at home.
The workshop focuses on everyday posting skills; paid advertising is not covered.
WHAT TO BRING
A charged smartphone or tablet; a laptop is optional.
Access to the social media account you want to use.
Three to five artwork photos saved on your device.
Your public website or shop link, if you have one.
Please make sure you can sign into your account before class. A preparation email will be sent three days before the workshop.
