Pam Coffman is an accomplished art educator and professional artist with more than 225 years of experience teaching studio art and art history at the secondary and college level. She received her BA from Rollins College in 1984 and her MS in Art Education and Studio Art from Florida State University in 1993. As a professional artist Pam has been actively engaged in making art since the early 1970s.
She has participated in numerous art festivals, gallery shows, exhibitions, and invitational and juried shows throughout Florida. Her work has received recognition in the form of sales and awards.
In addition to creating her own work, Pam loves teaching workshops and giving talks on art and creativity. She has served as a juror/judge for numerous art exhibitions and competitions throughout the area.

Workshop Description:
Have you put your creativity on the back burner for too long? Do you feel like you need a jumpstart to get it going again? Does judgement get in the way of your creativity? Is the voice of your inner critic judging everything you do including where you are in your life? If so, register for this one-day workshop and give yourself permission to make time for the creative things you WANT to do. This workshop is all about freedom, imagination, and play. No matter your skill – or comfort – level this workshop is a safe space where you can reconnect and reenergize your personal creativity. We will experiment with a variety of mixed media activities and techniques to help you kick your inner critic to the curb and invite your inner child and creative muse to take over. We will play with a little bit of this, a little bit of that and break some rules to help ignite and recharge our creative spark. This is the perfect workshop for those who are convinced they are not very creative and for the seasoned artist whose work has gotten tight and predictable. No inner critics allowed! Be prepared to get messy!
