Time: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Tuition Fee with Credit Card: $104.00 members - $125.00 non-members
Tuition Fee with Check/Cash: $100.00 members - $120.00 non-members
Classes limited to 10 students.

Payment in full is required before the first class.
Registration ends August 25th.
Cancellations must be made at least one week before the first day of class in order to receive a refund.
Bio and Education:
Carolyn was born and grew up in the New York City metropolitan area and was exposed to the creative process at an early age. She has a BA in Art Education and an MA in Education plus another 33 credits in administration and fine arts. She has been a lifelong educator and has presented several papers on “Motivation for Learning: Through the Arts”. She has taught on all levels from pre-school through college. She is the recipient of many awards and has paintings in both private and corporate collections.
Class Description
The students will learn different ways to start an abstract painting and the various materials that can be used if choosing the mixed media or collage approach. Elements and Principles of Design will be discussed. A demonstration on the various techniques of paper dying and embellishing paper will be given, for those who want to add these elements to their work..
