Workshop Description (Limited to 10 students)

Explore the vibrant world of Gelli plate printing in this hands-on-workshop! Perfect for beginners and seasoned artists alike. You will be expertley guided through the basics and beyond of monoprinting with the gelli plate using a variety of techniques including: layering, stenciling, stamping, image transfers, and mark making using found objects. The fun of gelli plate printing lies in the endless creative possibilities it offers. With a few simple steps and many layers, you can create one-of-a-kind prints that can be used for collage, sketchbooks, greeting cards, art/junk journals, stand alone art works and much more.

BIO Pam Coffman is an accomplished art educator and professional artist with more than 22 years of experience teaching studio art and art history at the secondary and college level. She received her BA from Rollins College in 1984 and her MS in Art Education and Studio Art from Florida State University in 1993.

As a professional artist Pam has been actively engaged in making art since the early 1970s. She has participated in numerous art festivals, gallery shows, exhibitions, and invitational and juried shows throughout Florida. Her work has received recognition in the form of sales and awards.

In addition to creating her own work, Pam loves teaching workshops and giving talks on art and creativity. She has served as a juror/judge for numerous art exhibitions and competitions throughout the area.
