Monique Cohen is a Florida-based, self-taught artist working across fluid art, watercolor, acrylic, and abstract painting. Originally from Texas, she relocated to the shores of Florida to embrace a life of freedom and creativity alongside her husband. After discovering a deep, intuitive passion for art, Cohen transitioned from a career in the mortgage industry to fully dedicate herself to her practice. Her work explores the movement of color and energy, inspired by oceanic elements, light, and celestial influence. She has exhibited at the Art League of Daytona Beach, where she received a Distinction award for her abstract acrylic pour The Big Bang: Celestial Awakening, along with an Honorable Mention for her watercolor piece Hushed Radiance. Known for her luminous palettes and layered depth, her work reflects both technical exploration and intuitive creation.

Workshop Description:
Join artist Monique Cohen for a special fall workshop blending creativity, movement, color, and connection in an immersive acrylic pouring experience.
Inspired by the energy of flame, flowing paint, metallic textures, and autumn warmth, this hands-on workshop invites artists of all skill levels to explore expressive acrylic pouring techniques in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Participants will create dynamic abstract artwork using layered color combinations, fluid movement, and shimmering metallic accents while learning foundational pouring methods and creative finishing techniques.
The experience also includes a delicious hibachi lunch, adding a social and sensory element to this unique artistic gathering.
