Workshop Description (Limited to 5 students)
Workshop Introduction
This workshop consists of two sessions designed specifically for photographers who want to deepen their understanding of the workflow between Lightroom and Photoshop. It is ideal for those who use the desktop versions of these applications and are interested in improving their skills in utilizing both programs effectively. Participants must have a laptop and have Lightroom and Photoshop installed on their computers.
Workshop Overview
In this two-session hands-on workshop, we will go from import to masterpiece. Participants will learn to navigate both programs, import, catalog, and sort images in Lightroom. The workshop will also cover working with layers, selection masks, and basic color correction in Photoshop, building a strong foundation for future workflow.
Lightroom and Photoshop: Workflow and Creative Tools
Lightroom is designed to streamline a photographer’s workflow with its ability to sort, manage, and archive digital images. It serves as an organizational hub, making it easier to handle large collections of photos efficiently and effectively.
Photoshop, on the other hand, is a vital resource for expanding creative possibilities. It provides powerful tools for detailed editing, retouching, and compositing, allowing photographers to enhance and transform their images beyond basic adjustments. Either software can be used to professionally edit photographs, depending on the desired outcome and workflow requirements.
