Jacquelyn Bennett
BIO
Jacquelyn is a multidisciplinary artist and former New Yorker with an art degree in interior design. Following a successful career managing major commercial corporate space projects, she never let her hobbies fall to the side, as a painter and fashion seamstress. She now enjoys retirement in Florida alongside her husband and beloved poodle, Lucille.
With a lifelong passion for creativity beginning at 7, her artistic journey is deeply rooted in color and visual design. Her extensive background and hobbies directly shapes her art work. This professional history brings a sophisticated approach to composition, balance, and spatial relationships on canvas.
Now residing in Florida, she finds endless inspiration in the coastal life, sunshine and vibrant art community that surrounds her. Whether mixing delicate watercolors or painting , her work reflects a joyful appreciation for aesthetics. When not in the studio practicing her art, she stays active by swimming, practicing yoga, and exploring the outdoors with her husband and Lucile.
